We believe legacy films should be crafted with the same intention, artistry, and respect as any meaningful documentary or cinematic work. These are not simple recordings. They are carefully told stories that deserve time, patience, and a deep understanding of both the technical craft and the emotional weight behind them.
Our foundation comes from over a decade of professional experience in reality television, documentary, and film production. That background has shaped how we listen, how we frame moments, and how we translate real lives into honest and compelling films. Our work has been recognized at the highest level, including an Emmy Award for cinematography in 2021. That experience now informs everything we do, from lighting and sound to pacing, tone, and storytelling.
Keepsake Family Films was founded in 2025 with a clear purpose. We set out to deliver high quality legacy films that honor the people in front of the camera and the families who will treasure these stories for years to come. We believe families deserve films that feel timeless, personal, and worthy of the memories they preserve.
I founded Keepsake Family Films in 2025 after a conversation with my mother that fundamentally shifted how I viewed my work. She shared a quiet regret that she did not have a meaningful video preserving the stories, voices, and memories of her parents after they passed away in 2019 and 2021. Their history and lived experiences were gone in ways that photographs alone could never replace. Specifically, my mother told me she missed hearing their laughs.
That moment stayed with me.
With over a decade of professional experience in reality television, documentary, and film production, I have spent my career learning how to tell real stories with care, clarity, and intention. I am a 2021 Emmy Award winning cinematographer, and I bring that same level of craft and respect to every legacy film I create. My technical background in audio, video, and lighting allows me to focus not only on how a film looks, but how it feels.
As I explored the legacy video space, I realized there was a disconnect between cost and quality. Many families were being charged premium prices for work that lacked the storytelling depth and production value these stories deserve. I believed there was a better way.
I created Keepsake Family Films to combine professional filmmaking with genuine human connection. My goal is to give individuals the space to share their stories openly and honestly, and to preserve those stories in films that families can return to for years to come. This work is deeply personal to me. The sample video on this site is my parents. I made it for myself and my 2 brothers to have. It is about honoring lives, preserving voices, and creating something meaningful that endures beyond us, and I love what I do.
